Michael and Anna Morrow raise heritage chickens (Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, White Rock and Delaware) for meat, and Cinnamon Queens for brown eggs. They also raise turkeys, lamb, and veal.

Armand's Harper Valley Farms is a diversified family farm.  They primarily raise hogs, cattle, corn & soybeans.  The genetic lines of their livestock date back to the 1940's when Albert's Grandfather moved from the Jefferson Proving Grounds to the Westport area.  When Albert was in high school, he bought the farm across the road from the family farm and diversified into raising about 20 acres of pumpkins and vegetable crops.  Diane has been an active member of local farmers' markets in the area for the past 27 years.  It is their hope to pass on their farm to the next generation.  

Some would say Albert is "living the dream" because he gets to go out and play with his pigs every day. He checks on his livestock in the pasture and in the barns around the farm daily. He truly enjoys working with the animals.

Arnold Farms is in the process of transitioning a 200 year old family farm from a conventional grain and livestock operation toward a diversified system that is sustainable and regenerative for the environment, our family, and the community. The Arnold family first settled in Rush County in 1820 and have been farming there ever since. The farm followed a typical path for the region, beginning as a highly diversified farm where the Arnold family raised a wide range of livestock and crops. As the nation grew and growing urban populations demanded greater quantities of food, the farm began to specialize in a few grains and livestock while adopting new technologies. At Arnold Farms there are often four generations all working together to get ready for market, keep the weeds at bay, and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Bastin Honey Bee Farm is a family owned and operated company located in Knightstown Indiana. We raise and sell honey bees, bee equipment, honey and honey products like candles and soap.

Berry Goods Farm LLC is a small family owned farm in Hancock county Indiana that was formed in 2014 by Amy Surburg, an engineer turned homemaker and farmer. Amy has a passion for growing good food.  She grows produce, eggs, strawberries, and turkeys.  Berry Goods Farm is Snail Approved by Slow Food Indy.

Our farm has been in the family since 1947 when Earl's grandparents bought the farm. We are nestled in the southeast corner of Hancock County with 1 mile of Blue River and 1/4 mile of Nameless Creek on the property. Earl grew up on the farm, as his parents built a house on the property when they got married, Earl and Barb's son now lives in that house and Barb and Earl live in Earl's grandparents home. Their son, Michael, does a lot of the day to day farm work including caring for the animals. The farm is 167 acres in total. Part of the farm is in permanent pasture and woods.

Caprini Creamery is located in Spiceland, about 40 miles east of Indianapolis and owned by husband and wife team, Mike Hoopengardner and Kristy Kikly. As a research scientist with Eli Lilly, Kristy's knowledge of microbiology dovetailed beautifully with the art of cheese making, and soon she and Mike developed a plan to expand their operation into a full-fledged creamery. Caprini is a Slow Food Indy Snail of Approval recipient!

The Dandy Breeze is family owned and operated by the Waitt family. Tom and Sally Waitt have been milking cows for over 30 years. They graduated from Purdue University in Farm and Agricultural Science. For the past 30 years, they have been selling milk to co-ops. It has been a 15 year family dream that came true in the summer of 2017.

The orchard is owned today by Joe Black, who founded Apple Hill Orchard in Knox County, and is managed by his daughter Kristi and her husband, Tim Schulz. The current orchard location, on Old Petersburg Road near Highway 57, was developed by Bill Engelbrecht and his son Joe, and was purchased by Black in 2014. The 40-acre orchard grows a variety of tree fruit, including peaches, apples, nectarines, pumpkins, and cherries.

Robert and Darlene Engleking are full time farmers and owners of Engleking's Country Beef Shop, located in Eastern Hancock County. They provide high quality meat (beef and pork) fed with flavor-enriching home grown grain on open pasture without the use of hormones, steroids, or antibiotics.

Garcia’s Gardens is a small but mighty farm providing healthy food to the Lawrence/Indianapolis area. They grow a variety of fresh produce using organic methods.  Garcia’s Gardens is located on the east side of Indianapolis, growing produce using natural methods, meaning they do not use any chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides.

Our farm is called Music Acres, and we have over 50 years of farming experience on this land in northwest Indiana nestled about 50 miles North of Lafayette just south of the region.  Music Acres is an independently-owned, farm-to-table operation that takes a great amount of pride in producing our garlic varieties the natural way. Good Seed Garden is a chemical free farm operating on less than one acre. Founded in 2017 we are into our fourth year farming. We have a CSA as well as grow for direct to consumer and restaurants. We grow a wide range of greens as well as, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, garlic, root crops, herbs, and plants.

We produce sustainably grown produce using organic practices.

Greenfield Coffee Company is a local family business owned and operated in Hancock County, Indiana that focuses on sustainably-sourced and carefully roasted coffee beans.

GreenRiver Green House is located in Peru, Indiana.  GreenRiver Green House is unique because it is an Aquaponic farm which is an alternative farming system. This type of farming uses the combination of Aquaponics (raising fish) and Hydronponic ( growing plants in water, we use a floating raft system). The fish creates a natural fertilizer of nutrient rich water for the pepper plants. Then the pepper plants purify the water for the fish. This creates a perfect alternative to soil farming.

At GreenRiver we buy a fish called Tilapia as "fingerlings" and raise them (in a controlled environment hut 3,200 sq ft) to the right size, then transfer them to the grow beds in the 16,000 sq ft greenhouse where they naturally fertilize the water for the pepper plants that are growing on floating rafts. GreenRiver is a year round producing greenhouse.

Healthy Roots sprouted in early 2017. Our goal is to help address the demand for locally-grown, organic produce that can be grown year round.

In our current facility, we're growing a variety of leafy greens, herbs, micro greens, and wheatgrass; with the potential to expand to mushrooms. All of our products are certified USDA Organic.

Our living herbs are grown in soil but the lettuces and most of our cut herbs are total hydroponics.  We use NFT channels so our plugs sit down in these 8ft by 4in by 1in channels and a small stream of water runs along the bottom of the channel.  We mostly use the mineral solution only in channels but have a small amount of plants in perlite as well
